For me, music transcends brokenness. It’s a universal language; no matter our background,  we can all retreat to our personal spaces, play our favorite song, and become totally undone. No shame. No guilt. No pressure. Music is everything to me. It is healing, it is peace, it is freedom. It may not look/sound the same for all of us, but it moves us, inspires us, and uplifts us. I have shared some of my personal favorites from both of my NICU stays. I sang some of these songs to my LO (little one) and others were played in my personal time when I needed encouragement or just a pick me up.

I hope my list can provide some much needed inspiration for you! Please comment with your faves so we can inspire other mama’s who may be starting their journey now or are weeks/months/years into it.
